Will Shuddh Desi Romance Promotions Go To Patna?

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has come a long way in B-Town. The actor began his career on television and later made his Bollywood debut with the movie Kai Po Che. Now Sushant, who is looking forward to his upcoming movie Shuddh Desi Romance, wants to take the film to his hometown, Patna.

The 27-year-old wants to visit Patna for the promotions of the film and by doing so he feels that he will be sharing his success with his near and dear ones back home.

Sushant has also requested the production house Yash Raj Films if they can promote the film in Patna. "Sushant is very keen to promote the film in his hometown Patna. Having come from the city, he is emotionally tied to it and would love to visit his town with his co-stars - Parineeti and Vaani Kapoor," said a a spokesperson of Shuddh Desi Romance.

However, the filmakers have not finalised the promotion plans. "We are yet to freeze on the promotion plans but will take a call on it soon," the spokesperson added.

Shuddh Desi Romance, which is directed by Maneesh Sharma is a story that revolves around casual relationships in small towns of India. It depicts the modern youth in small towns. The film also portrays the changing thought processes and evolving demeanour of younger generations. The movie is set to release on September 6 this year.
