Zoya Akhtar’s admiration for Pulkit Samrat

Pulkit Samrat, who soon will be seen in Excel Entertainment's Fukrey has managed to impress Zoya Akhtar.

Zoya was at a special screening of the film and she was impressed by Pulkit's performance in the film. Apparently, the director is thinking of casting him in her next film that was supposed to star Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Pulkit Samrat, is on cloud nine after getting such a response from Zoya. "She happens to be one of his favourite directors. So he is eagerly waiting for the day when he'll get a call from Zoya," adds the insider.

While Pulkit couldn't be reached for a comment, Zoya says, "I'm just back from London. And yes, Fukrey does look promising."
