Delhi
Belly
director
Abhinay
deo
came
to
limelight
after
his
film
was
a
huge
hit.
The
film's
script
writer
Akshat
Verma
also
rose
to
fame.
Now
the
buzz
is
that
he
is
back
with
a
script
for
a
dark
situational
comedy
after
a
sabbatical
of
three
years.
This
time
the
script
requires
five
young
faces
for
the
lead
roles.
Akshat
has
narrated
the
story
to
Aamir
Khan.
"If
all
goes
as
planned,
then
Disney
India
and
Aamir
Khan
Productions
should
produce
the
film.
Aamir
laughed
throughout
Akshat's
narration.
From
the
looks
of
it,
he
seemed
impressed.
He's
likely
to
have
subsequent
meetings
to
take
the
project
forward," says
the
source.
Aamir
Khan
who
co-produced
Delhi
Belly
has
been
contemplating
of
a
sequel
for
almost
three
years
but
hasn't
green-signalled
yet.
This
narration
of
new
script
just
might
be
perfect
for
a
sequel
to
the
laugh
riot,
which
can
really
turn
fruitful
for
a
new
title.
"Akshat
didn't
discuss
his
wish-list
of
actors
when
he
met
Aamir
but
chances
are
that
they
may
not
repeat
the
cast
of
the
previous
film
because
the
stories
aren't
connected," adds
the
source.
Aamir
Khan,
Akshat
Verma
and
Siddharth
Roy
Kapur
from
Disney
India
were
not
available
to
comment.
