Aamir Khan Rubbishes Threat Rumours

Aamir Khan slammed the reports of threats to his life regarding sensitives issues dealt by him in his TV show Satyamev Jayate. It was rumoured that he was receiving several threats as he criticized many ill practices in the country such as female foeticide, medical malpractices and honour killing.

It was reported that Aamir ordered a bullet proof car as he is worried about his safety after he touched upon issues regarding governance and Lok Sabha elections 2014 in the latest Season of his show. But Dhoom Khan slammed all these reports and said, "I have not got any threats. I don't fear... threats. Do not go with the rumours. There is no threat to me."

Satyamev Jayate Season 1, anchored by the 48 year old Aamir, had a successful run and the Season 2 is about to be aired in TV from March 2. Aamir added, "We think ourselves as communicators, our responsibility is to talk about an issue, present the data and talk about the law. I want people to join... engage in the movement and stand for the right things. Personally, I would like to endorse women empowerment."

Aamir is also busy with his latest film, named P.K, directed by Raju Hirani. The film features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Boman Irani.
