Actor
Salman
Khan
has
now
turned
farmer
Salman
Khan
as
the
star
has
resorted
to
growing
vegetables
like
potatoes,
tomatoes
and
pumpkins
himself
at
his
very
own
kitchen
garden.
Bollywood
actors
are
hardly
seen
buying
vegetables
and
household
stuffs
from
the
market
by
themselves
but
Sallu
bhai
as
always
stands
out
from
the
ordinary.
Salman
Khan
has
started
growing
vegetables
like
potatoes,
tomatoes
and
pumpkins
at
his
kitchen
garden
to
avoid
chemical
based
vegetables
in
the
market.
According
to
a
source,
Salman
has
been
growing
the
vegetables
without
using
any
kind
of
artificial
fertilisers
and
serves
his
guests
with
food
cooked
with
the
same
home-grown
vegetables.
It
has
been
learnt
that
the
production
is
solely
for
domestic
purpose
and
everything
that
is
cooked
from
the
home-grown
vegetables
are
consumed
at
Salman's
Bandra
home
and
his
farm
house.
After
quiting
smoking
some
years
back,
Salman
has
now
pushed
himself
to
an
even
more
healthy
life
and
this
practice
of
gardening
is
just
another
part
of
the
endeavour.
Meanwhile,
Salman's
father
Salim
Khan
confirming
the
news
said,
"I
have
never
seen
Salman
so
passionate
about
anything
as
he
has
fully
dedicated
himself
to
the
farm.
Salman
has
no
intention
to
sell
the
production
and
it's
solely
for
domestic
use."
Salman
who
runs
the
charity
trust
under
the
name
'Being
Human'
has
always
been
known
for
his
charitable
works
and
as
it's
said
'Health
is
wealth',
now
Salman
puts
a
sincere
effort
to
keep
his
health
as
high
as
his
wealth.
Salman
is
also
busy
with
his
upcoming
movie
Kick
which
is
scheduled
to
release
on
July
27.
