Aishwarya Throws Surprise Party For Birthday Boy Abhishek Bachchan

As Abhishek Bachchan turned 38 year old today, his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan threw a surprise party for him. The surprise party, which made Abhi super happy, is attended by his close friends including Shahrukh Khan, Bipasha Basu, Rakeysh Mehra,Rohan Sippy, Apoorva Lakhia ,Sikandar Kher and Preity Zinta.

A source close to Bachchans revealed, "We all have been instructed by Ash to be very careful and quite about the birthday party. We are not even supposed to speak to one another among his friends about it. So I don't even know who all are coming.'

Abhishek opined about his birthday, "38 feels no different from 37 or 36. I still shoot my films the entire day and then return to my family. I feel the same kind of excitement facing the camera on this birthday as I did Refugee for J.P Dutta Saab on my 23rd birthday. Birthdays have always been a family affair for us and I hope it would be the same this year too. There's nothing in the world I'd want more . Any day when all of us can be together is like a birthday treat."

When quizzed about when fans can see him and wife Aishwarya acting together again on screen, he said, "Very soon, I hope. I really enjoy working with her. We get a lot fan-mail asking us to be together again on screen. We'd be more than glad to get together."
