Amitabh Bachchan Walks The Ramp With Bollywood Heartthrobs!

It was the biggest Bollywood blockbuster as expected earlier. Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Ranbir Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra walked the ramp for Shabana at the Grand Hyatt in support of women empowerment.

Mijwan Welfare Society, an NGO founded by Late poet Kaifi Azmi and headed by Shabana Azmi and Namrata Goyal took up the cause of promoting women empowerment through this ramp walk.

Big B was not at all perturbed by the fact that he walked the ramp along with all the other younger actors. He readily accepted to walk in Manish Malhotra collection earlier for Shabana. The theme for the evening was 'Mijwan For Men'. Shabana said, "this is her father's wish of seeing both men and women becoming successful in all walks of life.

Shabana Azmi said, "I didn't even dare suggest to Mr. Bachchan that he was the oldest of the five generations of actors walking the ramp. Because to me his energy level equals that of the youngest actor Sidharth Malhotra of the group, who would walk the ramp." The show also saw a host of celebrities including Kajol, Dia Mirza, Sushmita Sen, Parineeti Chopra and Dia Mirza.

What with these big stars walking the ramp, if they are seen together on-screen it would be the biggest hit in the hindi film industry.
