Ankit Tiwari Family Supports Him

There is a new twist to the Aashiqui 2 singer Ankit Tiwari rape charge case. Ankit Tiwari's family has given a statement about the singer.

The family made a statement saying Ankit had met the girl Nidhi Khanna in the year 2012 in durga pooja. Both were good friends and wanted to take their relationship to next level.

Apparently, Ankit Tiwari later found out that Nidhi was a divorcee with a 13 year old kid. This betrayal shocked and deeply hurt Ankit and he asked Nidhi to put an end to the relationship. This made her angry and consequently she started threatening Ankit and his family.

Ankit Tiwari is a rising star in India and the family states that she is making use of his star status and fame. Ankit's family feels thats she has falsely filed a complaint against him and framed him up.

They are very sure that the truth will come out and Ankit will win while they have absolute faith in the Indian Judiciary. They seek support and prayers from Ankit's fans, friends and media.
