Anurag Kashyap Recycles Old Anil Kapoor Script For Shahrukh Khan: Alwyn Kalicharan

The latest news in B Town is that Shahrukh Khan gave his 'yes' nod to Anurag Kashyap who wants King Khan for his Alwyn Kalicharan. Kashyap was kind of a black sheep to Bollywood mainstream till he married Kalki Koechlin. His transformation since the marriage is so visible and to everyone's surprise, he is now best friends with Karan Johar whom he once used to constantly criticize in harsh words in his honest days.

Alwyn Kalicharan is not a tailor made project for Shahrukh Khan. Kashyap is actually recycling an old script written back in 2003 with Anil Kapoor in mind. Through the years, the dark and off beat sensibility of Kashyap has gone through a transformation. Thus, the look and feel of the movie may be changed in a big scale.

As the script is already with Anurag, he is planning to begin the shooting of the film after his much expected Ranbir Kapoor starer Bombay Velvet. Alwyn Kalicharan is definitely going to be a very different film in the entire career of Shahrukh Khan.

Kashyap earlier said about this project, " I tried to do Alvin Kalicharan in 2013 once, which is a black, mad amalgamation of everything that comprises a Hindi heartland childhood and six days before the film shooting, Anil Kapoor pulled out being insecure about the project."

So Will the project for which Anil Kapoor felt insecurity do good for Shahrukh Khan? You must wait and watch !
