Following the bartender identified Bollywood star Salman Khan ordering drinks on the night of the 2002 hit and run incident, the same witness now claims that he does not exactly remember if Salman himself drank that night or not.
The eyewitness identified as Moloy Baug (42) was working at the bar in which Salman along with a group went just before the accident happened and in the Court, Moloy testified Salman too saying that the star along with some others visited the bar that night and ordered drinks.
However, during cross questioning the bartender claimed that though he saw Salman ordering the drinks but he is not sure whether the star himself had alcohol that night or not.
"Salman along with seven or eight people came at around 11.30 pm that night. They placed the order and after which I served the drinks and the food on the table. But then I don't remember whether Salman consumed alcohol or not," said the bartender.
Earlier, three other witnesses identified Salman to be coming out of the car after the accident and one of them claimed that Salman was so drunk that he hardly could stand.
One of the witnesses also alleged that she received threatening calls from unknown numbers and lodged a complaint in this regard.
All together six witnesses have been testified so far including on Tuesday and it seems the hit and run case has a long way to go.
It has been alleged that Salman that night ran his car over some people sleeping on a footpath which left one person dead and four others injured. Salman Khan is now charged with culpable homicide by which if convicted, the star can face jail imprisonment up to 10 years.
