Hollywood actor John Trovolta, who attended the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2014 here Friday, said he has been approached by filmaker Shekhar Kapoor for Paani.
"Yes, I have been offered a film that I am considering doing. I believe it's an honest Bollywood film and its called Pani. Shekhar Kapoor has asked me to be a part of it," Trovolta said.
John Travolta was all praise for Bollywood and Hindi films. Especially about Priyanka Chopra. He said, "I think Bollywood has no inhibitions and that reflets in their movies. It'll be great to watch the same in Hollywood films.
"The video 'Exotic' was beautiful. Priyanka and Pitbull were amazing and that exemplified what should be. I've always felt acting, song and dance should go in sync. I've always been more satisfied doing both. I wish people get more excited about musicals."
When asked whom would he like to work with in Bollywood, he said, "I liked the girl in 'Ram Leela'. She is amazing. She is great... I've also watched '3 Idiots', 'Lagaan' and 'Krishh'."
Shekhar Kapur has been planning to make Paani for a while now and Hrithik Roshan was earlier approached for this film. Very soon John Travolta would be seen in an Indian Film, the amazing Hollywood hunk in a Bollywood flick. How interesting!!
