Upcoming movie Bombay Velvet starring actor Ranbir Kapoor stressed that film-makers and stories are more important now than the actors performing in those films.

Talking with media on the sets of Bombay Velvet, the charming actor emphasised on the importance of good scripts and direction and also highly praised the work of his co-actress in the movie Anushka Sharma. "Today film-makers and stories are more important than actors or stars and I think that's the way it should be. If I work with Anurag Kashyap, Anurag Basu or Imtiaz Ali, it is only me who will be benefitted rather than me benefitting them," said Ranbir.

"More than physical, Bombay Velvet is more emotionally challenging for me. It is a very intense role and I have never been in such a role ever before. But every role has its own challenges and Anurag is a delight to work with," he asserted.
