Don't Regret Doing Off-Beat Films, Says Emraan Hashmi

By Shilpa

Actor Emraan Hashmi feels that experimentation is important for an actor. Emraan essays the role of a conman in his upcoming film Raja Natwarlal.

Emraan was quoted saying, "It is very important to divert from what you are doing just to stretch your creative skills and when you come back to your traditional path - the path you are known for - then you bring a new colour to your performance and characters."

Emraan's last two films Ek Thi Daayaan and Ghanchakkar failed at the box office badly. But, the actor said that he don't regret doing these off beat films. Emraan said, "For any actor, doing experiments is important. I don't regret the films I have done. If I had it my way, I would still do 'Ek Thi Daayan' and would do a 'Ghanchakkar'."

The actor has dedicated his upcoming film Raja Natwarlal to his fans. Emraan said, "I think my fans are also bit angry with me as in the last year I have done quite a lot of experiments on screen. So this film is, kind of, dedicated to them."

Raja Natwarlal is a comedy thriller film in which Emraan Hashmi will be seen romancing actress Humaima Malick. Actor Paresh Rawal and Deepak Tijori also star in the film. Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the film will hit theatres on August 29, 2014.
