Filmfare Awards 2014: Aarif Sheikh Gets Best Editing Award For The Movie D-Day!

Filmfare Awards 2014: The Award for the Best Editing Goes to Aarif Sheikh for the movie D-Day. Well deserved as the movie did get noticed for its outstanding use of editing techniques.

D-day was critically acclaimed as viewers found the movie unique and something out of the box. The maximum credits here goes to the editing department which was well handled by none other than the very talented Aarif Sheikh.

It was not the first movie where Aarif was putting all his hard work but was also seen giving his special touch ups in movies like Dum Maro Dum, Blue Umbrella, Chandani Chowk To China, Taxi No 9211, Hattrick and many more.

His editing skills for the movie Delhi Safari was amazing and he was recognized for his work. D-Day is a 2013 Indian Spy Thriller which was co-produced by DAR motion pictures and Emmay Entertainment Private Limited.

The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi, Shruti Haasan and Sandeep Kulkarni in the prominent roles.

Sheikh has earlier worked with big names like Rishi Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Roger Yan and Nana Patekar.
