Bandish Projekt, the three member electronic band, scores big in GiMA Music Awards 2014. GiMA Music Awards, an initiative by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd to appreciate and honour the talents in Indian music industry, is highly regarded in the industry and winning an award at GiMA would be a dream come true for the young Bandish Projekt.

Bandish Projekt is an early bird in the progressive music scenario of India as electronic music genre has not started to get appreciated in this country. But this award will be a career boost for them and will make many aware of their existence and the elegance of their music.


Formed by three creative minds, Bandish Projekt, delivers a blend of Indian Carnatic music and western programming and engineering in it. The band was formed in 1998 by Mayur Narvekar, Udyan Sagar and Mehir Nath Chopra.Narvekar collaborates with music producers and musicians, Chopra supports the band as a mentor and Sagar performs as the nucleus of their musical operations.

With a track record of performing in many music festivals abroad, Bandish Projekt has done many outstanding compositions such as the album KARREKT and the single Brown Skin Beauty. Bandish Projekt earlier performed in Sweden, France, Dubai, Uk, Australia Played at Glastonbury, Sommerszene festival (Austria), Edinburg Fringe Festival, Melbourne Electronic Festival, Incubate festival, BBC Asian Network, Village India UK.

Many prominent musicians like Anoushka Shankar, Usha Uthup, Padma Vibhushan Pandit Ram Narayan, Mika Singh and Honey Singh graced GiMA Music Awards and Ranveer Singh hosted the fabulous show.
