John
Abraham's
production
banner
JA
Entertainment
is
in
talks
with
Sunir
Kheterpal's
Azure
Entertainment
for
the
remaking
of
the
2010
blockbuster
Korean
movie
The
Man
from
Nowhere.
Titled
Rocky
Handsome,
the
upcoming
film
will
see
John
in
a
leaner,
meaner
and
a
menacing
form
compared
to
his
beefy
frame
seen
in
the
2011
action
thriller
Force.
Rocky
Handsome,
which
too
is
an
action
flick,
will
see
Johnny
boy
as
a
grudging
person
who
is
hell
bent
on
extracting
revenge
over
an
illegal
drug
network
that
has
consumed
the
innocent
life
of
a
tender
eight-year-old
girl
as
well
as
her
mother.
In
the
film,
John
is
seen
sharing
a
special
affection
with
the
child,
who
with
her
mother,
become
victims
of
a
ruthless
drug
mafia.
When
John
gets
to
know
of
their
trauma,
he
swears
revenge
and
goes
on
a
killing
spree
against
the
mafia.
While
sizzling
southern
beauty
Shruti
Hassan
has
been
roped
in
to
play
the
role
of
the
mother,
the
child
artist
who
will
play
the
character
of
the
eight-year-old
girl
has
not
been
disclosed
to
the
media.
The
original
South
Korean
film
was
a
gory
narrative
that
was
jam-packed
with
extreme
action.
But,
the
upcoming
Hindi
flick
will
be
more
commercial
in
nature,
with
the
elements
of
songs
and
dances
being
injected
in
true,
typical
Bollywood
flavour.
Helmed
by
Nishikant
Kamath,
the
super-action
drama
will
go
on
the
floor
at
Goa
in
May.
And
according
to
Kheterpal,
the
movie
is
slated
to
hit
the
screens
on
February
6,
2015.
