Kareena Kapoor Does Anything For Friends!

Kareena Kapoor who was strong to say no to item songs in her career after 'Fevicol se', now has donned that item girl avatar for her friend. She is dancing for a song in Gabbar. When her close friend Shabina Khan asked Kareena to do an item song in Gabbar her immediate response was to say no.

Kareena is known to do anything for her friend. Shabina Khan the co-producer of Gabbar specially requested her to break her no item dance policy.

"Kareena has done just 3-4 item songs in her career, and all for friends. After the Fevicol number in Dabangg 2 she is no mood get into the groove for an item number. Bebo was also tempted because it was the Gabbar producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali who supervised her look and presentation in the item song. And Bebo was very impressed by what Bhansali achieved with Priyanka Chopra's item song Ram chahe leela chahe in Ram Leela", says her friend.

In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production Rowdy Rathod which Shabina Khan had co-produced, Kareena has done a cameo role. Ram Leela was for Kareena Kapoor at that time.

Kareena's item song in Gabbar is a precursor to bag the lead in Bhansali's prestigious Bajiaro Mastani, is what the insiders strongly feel but Bebo has a different reason. She says, "I could'nt say no to a friend and that's the reason I'm doing Gabbar."
