Kareena Kapoor doesn't get disturbed or disheartened about things not working her way. She takes things with a pinch of salt and in its own stride. Kareena's Bombay Samurai opposite Farhan Akhtar and Shuddhi under Karan Johar's home productions have stuck for reasons unknown.
Shuddhi was kept on hold due to Hrithik Roshan's health issues which eventually forced her to walk out of that project. Bombay Samurai was delayed because of the Excel entertainment production house was busy with the star Shahrukh Khan's other project. Bombay Samurai was scheduled to release in March but delayed and postponed to September 2014, contrary to the earlier reports which said next year.
"I have left Shuddhi, I am not part of it anymore. I am not at all disheartened about it. It (Bombay Samurai getting delayed) gives me more time for myself and to holiday... I am married now I am not running a relay marathon now. I don't know why the press makes such a big deal about it. After Singham 2, we will shoot for Bombay Samurai. As the film needs international crew we will begin work on it only post September," Kareena told PTI in an exclusive interview. She also added thatshooting for Singham 2 will start from March 25.
Kareena known for her attitude and in your face replies says that she did not regret her decisions. As far as her other films like Queen, Ram Leela, Fashion, Black which slipped out of her pocket and reached others, which subsequently gave them a big hit, she is least bothered and said, "I feel honoured and glad to give work to other people. I hope they (actresses) become stars as I have rejected big films."
Big Banner is nothing compared to how she relates herself to a film when she picks up her projects. She looks out for movies which she likes to be part of and excites her. Kareena just doesn't say yes to anyone, whoever it maybe, even though she listens to about two stories a day. She feels, it maybe a big filmmaker but the script should interest her, if not she wouldn't say an yes. This has been learnt over the years is what she further added.
