Kahaani film Director Sujoy Ghosh is reportedly planning to make an adaptation of the Japanese novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X' for which the director needs character of a single mother.

And as per reports, Sujoy has roped in Katrina Kaif to play the role of a single mother in the upcoming film.

Sujoy has always been known to be making powerful women-centric films and this might be just the right opportunity for Katrina to prove herself as an actress.

Katrina's next releasing film is Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and the actress has a couple of other ongoing projects as well.
