Kissing On-screen Feels Awkward: Arjun Kapoor

While, the passionate kissing scenes between Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the movie 2 States trailer have caught many eye balls, Arjun insists that the film has much more than just kissing scenes.

"No one reads anything but about kissing only. So I told jokingly that the toughest thing was to kiss Alia and that became the headline. It's the media who asks us question about it (kissing) and we answer it. I think it is being given undue importance," said the 2 States actor, Arjun Kapoor. The actor also hoped that people will start to talk about the film more than the kissing scene after they watch the movie.

The Gunday star also said that performing those intimate scenes creates a lot of awkwardness as there are several people on the sets and it has to be as per the director's way. "There remains a basic awkwardness when you do it first time and I hope it's alright. You don't want to be a bad kisser for any reason, be it on-screen or off-screen," he added.

Moreover, with kissing scenes in almost all his movies starting from Ishaqzaade to Aurangzeb and now in 2 States, when asked whether Arjun is thinking to snatch the tag of serial kisser and dethrone Emraan Hashmi, the young Kapoor said, "I wake up every morning seeing I can take Emraan's place but I have never looked at dethroning anyone. I think Raveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have kissed in almost every film."

Apart from the kissing scenes, the buzz of Arjun and Alia dating each other is also making rounds, though neither of the duo has made any official declaration of their relationship, if any. The movie 2 States is scheduled to release on April 18.
