Actor
R.Madhavan
has
urged
citizens
to
be
a
responsible
"aam
aadmi"
(common
man)
and
to
step
out
and
vote
for
the
love
of
their
country.
The
general
elections
for
the
Lok
Sabha
started
today.
Apart
from
other
stars
who
are
endorsing
about
the
right
to
vote,
Madhavan
has
also
joined
the
band
wagon.
"This
is
most
important
election
of
our
(country's)
history
and
I
would
want
everyone
to
go
and
vote," Madhavan
said
at
an
event
here.
"This
is
the
biggest
responsibility
you
can
show
as
an
aam
aadmi
(common
man)
and
I
am
not
talking
about
any
political
party
here,
I
am
talking
about
common
man.
Though,
he
was
very
clear
that
he
is
not
endorsing
any
party
in
particular,
he
wants
the
people
to
go
and
cast
their
vote
if
they
love
the
country.
"If
you
love
your
country,
then
do
vote.
Don't
sit
at
home
that
day
and
enjoy.
Let
your
voice
be
heard
by
the
entire
nation,
world," he
added.
Besides
him,
various
other
Bollywood
celebrities
like
Sidharth
Malhotra,
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Aamir
Khan
have
been
appealing
to
citizens
to
cast
their
vote.
Will
the
Nation
listen
to
these
stars
and
be
responsible
enough
to
vote?
That's
something
we
would
know
only
after
the
results
are
out
!!
