Director Mohit Suri who is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film Ek Villain is in no hurry to take up any new projects. Mohit is supposed to direct the film Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, which is produced under his uncle Mahesh Bhatt's home production.
Hamari Adhuri Kahaani stars actor Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. However, the director is not confident about the script. According to the sources, Suri feels that the film will not work as both Emraan and Vidya flopped at the box office in recent times.
While on the other side, actress Vidya Balan is excited about working in the Bhatt camp. But her excitement may soon get over, if the reports of Mohit Suri's opting out of the film turns true. Vidya's recently released film Bobby Jasoos failed to impress the audience. Also the film Ghanchakkar starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi failed at the box office.
Rumours are that, the director Mohit Suri is in talks with the filmmaker Karan Johar who wants him (Mohit Suri) to direct films under his banner Dharma Productions. However, Mohit Suri is taking his time to take the final decision. Suri was critically acclaimed for his film Aashiqui 2 which released last year. Actor Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor played the lead roles in the film.
