is

the
film
adaptation
of
author
Chetan
Bhagat's
upcoming
novel
Half
Girlfriend,
which
is
about
a
Bihari
boy
falling
in
love
with
a
girl
from
upper
class
society.
"Delighted
to
announce
super
talented
Mohit
Suri
@mohit11481
(Aashiqui
2,
Ek
Villain)
will
direct
the
film
based
on
my
next
book
Half
Girlfriend
(sic)," Bhagat
tweeted
Sunday.
This
will
be
Chetan
Bhagat's
sixth
novel
to
be
made
into
film.
The
earlier
films
are
3
idiots
based
on
'Five
Point
Someone',
Hello
based
on
'One
Night
@
The
Call
Centre',
'The
Three
Mistakes
of
My
Life' as
Kai
Po
Che,
2

Kahani
and
the
remake
of
French
film
Intouchables
in
his
kitty.
The
cast
and
crew
are
yet
to
be
finalised.
Mohit
Suri
too
confirmed
about
this
and
said,
"I
liked
it
because
of
the
simplicity
and
the
identifiability
with
the
story.
The
girl's
character
is
that
of
a
musician
in
the
film.
It's
not
a
love
story
for
perfect
people,
but
it's
about
how
normal
people
fall
in
love
and
how
we
hurt
people
whom
we
love
the
most.
The
story
is
simple
and
yet
I
cried
at
two
instances."
Let's
see
who
will
play
the
lead
characters
of
this
book
adaptation.
