Nimish
Chheda,
who
was
working
on
Dishkiyaoon
and
also
worked
on
films
like
Saawariya,
Kaminey,
and
24
(TV
Series)
passed
away
on
February
28.
Nimish
met
with
an
accident
when
he
lost
control
of
his
car
and
bumped
into
a
divider
on
February
17.
He
then
later
died
at
Raheja
Hospital.
On
February
17,
Nimish
Chheda,
sound
designer,
well
know
in
the
Marathi
and
Hindi
film
industry
was
driving
back
home
from
work
when
his
car
hit
a
dumper
near
the
Kherwadi
signal
in
Mumbai.
He
then
lost
control
and
bumped
into
a
divider.
Though
Nimish
was
in
a
critical
condition,
he
first
showed
signs
of
recovery,
but
contracted
meningitis
after
which
the
doctors
couldn't
save
him.
After
days
of
struggle,
Nimish
breathed
his
last
on
Friday.
Nimish
was
only
35-years-old
and
is
survived
by
his
wife
Yagna
and
his
15-month-old
daughter
Saira.
Nimish
Chheda
had
won
the
Maharashtra
State
Award
for
Best
Sound
apart
from
the
MIFTA
Award
for
Best
Sound
Designer
for
the
film
Shala
(2011).
