Priyanka Got Lucky, Bagged Bajirao Mastani

Priyanka is having the best time of her highly impressive film career now! Even though panned by critics, her last release Gunday became a hit. The dusky beauty now, reportedly, bagged Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project Bajirao Mastani.

Bajirao Mastani was a film Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to make since a long time. It was initially planned with Salman Khan in the lead role way back in 2004. The latest buzz is that Piggy Chops plays Bajirao's wife Kashibai in this period epic.

A source close to the actress revealed, "Priyanka has agreed to essay Kashibai's character. It may not be the title role, but it is vital to the story." It is said Kaashibai's character is very important and vital in this film that narrates the life journey of the lead character Bajirao Mastani.

The source also adds, " Kashibai is a vital role if portrayed with an amazing performance will always have more weightage and appreciation than that of a lead role. So looking at PC's acting prowess, one can go beyond just the length of her role."

It is rumoured that Eros has joined with Bhansali to producer this period epic and magnum opus. As all Bhansali movies, this film also deals with complex human relationships and there will be an undercurrent of romance and love.
