Queen Director Ropes Shahid Kapoor In For His Next Flick

Rumours are such that Shahid Kapoor bagged Queen Director Vikas Bahl's next flick, named presently as Shaandar. So this is going to be a great year for the Kapoor Kid as he has many ambitious projects in his kitty.

Shahid is busy shooting for his upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj film Haider now in Kashmir. Shraddha Kapoor plays the love interest of Jab We Met actor in Haider. This intense revenge drama of Vishal Bhardwaj is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Shahid is seen in this film in a near bald avatar. He is also sporting a thick beard for the movie.

After wrapping up Haider, Shahid will be doing Vikas Behl's next film, if the sources can be believed. The Queen director's next project is based on the destination weddings and will be the first Indian film on the subject. Another interesting aspect of the film is that the dialogues and songs for the film are written by lyricist Anvita Dutt Guptan.

By mid 2014, the film will start rolling. Behl is still looking for a perfect female actor to share screen space with Shahid Kapoor. An insider is informing us that they are looking for a fresh face than a popular actor.

We hope Vikas will hit the bull's eye once again with his latest Shahid Kapoor flick.
