Actor Ranbir Kapoor who has established himself as the 'Rockstar' of Bollywood had an option of film directing in mind if he failed as an actor.
Recently speaking about his life and journey in Bollywood at a show, Ranbir Kapoor said, "If I fail as an actor, I will take up direction or produce films but I will do something around the film industry. This is when I told my father that I would want to go to an acting institute and train myself."
Ranbir Kapoor who has been busy in shooting for his upcoming movie Bombay Velvet had this option of becoming a director before entering into the industry, while he was trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
Now with so many hit movies and several awards in his kitty, Ranbir has rightfully become one of the most highly paid celebrities in the B-Town. Ranbir started his Bollywood career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya and since the he has been entertaining his fans with movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Raajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and many more.
Currently rumoured to be dating Katrina Kaif, Ranbir's list of upcoming movies include Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos.
