It is widely known about how these young actors are obsessed with perfection and how they work really hard to get under the skin of the character to be played. Actors like Ranveer Singh is ready to go the extra mile in order to prepare for their role; Ranveer has apparently hired a special Marathi tutor for his role in Bajirao Mastani.
The latest fad among these youngsters is to get their accent right, be it Aditya Roy Kapoor's special preparation for his Urdu diction in Habib Faisal's Daawat-e-ishq or Ayushmann Khurrana working hard on his Marathi accent for Vibhu Puri's Mumbaai Fairytale.
Ranveer went through a similar preparation to get his Gujrati diction right in Sanjay Leela Bhasali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela. Sources close to the director said, "Ranveer would have to get his language and diction completely right. The director doesn't want a hue and cry over the language being mis-pronounced. He is already familiar with Marathi and can even speak the language. But for this role he needs to get the nuances and layering right."
The extravagant filmmaker and dialogue writer Prakash Kapadia have hired a Marathi tutor for Ranveer in order to sharpen his Marathi diction.
The sources also revealed, "Ranveer needs to look convincing as a Maratha warrior. He also needs to acquire a more sober image than the one he has. SLB has asked Ranveer to control his energy off screen and use it for the role."
And so the director of Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay has decided to start Ranveer's speech training well in advance before commencing the shooting in November.
