Ajay
Devgn
was
obviously
on
the
sets
and
Shahrukh
exchanged
pleasantries
with
him
as
well.
The
two
stars
who
were
once
allegedly
enemies
shared
a
warm
hug,
much
to
the
surprise
of
those
present
at
the
scene.
This
supposed
cold
war
had
started
when
Ajay
and
SRK's
movie,
Son
Of
Sardaar
and
Jab
Tak
Hain
Jaan
respectively
released
on
the
same
day.
Ajay
was
furious
with
the
YRF
banner
hogging
all
film
screens
on
the
release
day
leaving
very
few
theatres
for
Son
Of
Sardar.
He
felt
that
the
Yash
Raj
Films
had
pressurised
exhibitors
and
unfairly
taken
more
screens
for
their
film
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan.
Even
though
Shahrukh
Khan
was
not
responsible
for
it,
Ajay
stated
in
a
interview
that
SRK
neither
stopped
nor
tried
to
stop
it.
With
Rohit
last
big
hit,
Chennai
Express
staring
SRK
and
his
close
friend
being
Ajay
Devgn,
the
director
was
always
stuck
in
between
the
duo
on
which
side
to
take.
So
the
day
the
two
stars
hugged
on
his
set,
Rohit
was
practically
the
happiest
man
on
the
planet.
When
Rohit
Shetty
was
asked
about
the
two
stars
meeting
on
the
set
of
Singham
Returns,
he
stated,
"Footage
hai
mere
paas
of
Ajay
and
Shah
Rukh
hugging.
Ek
crore
mein
doonga!
Chahiye
kisiko?"
He
continued
this
humourous
joke
and
added,
"Publicity
ke
kaam
mein
aayega
yaar!"
