'Salman Factor' Works For Salman Films: Rohit Shetty

Director Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns is all set to release this Independence day. The film featuring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor is all about a cop Bajirao Singham and how he deals with the bad world.

Ajay Devgn plays the cop and Kareena Kapoor his love interest. Rohit Shetty, gave a massive hit at the box office last year with his Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, doesn't think too much about his Singham Returns fate.

The director said, "That the audience will tell. It is foolish to talk about the numbers before the release of the film. The release date of a film is very important. Holiday time matters a lot as there are lot of footfalls. If the film is good, it will do well."

Salman Khan is one actor who has given several 100 Crore films at the box office and Rohit Shetty also joins that 100 Cr club with many films of his like Chennai Express, Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan.

Rohit Shetty when quizzed about how Salman Khan films makes it big, he said, "For Salman it is only Salman that works. He is the bankable star for mass entertainer (films)."
