Kareena Made Me Proud: Sharmila Tagore

Sharmila Tagore praises daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor to sky heights for making her proud by contributing to women's safety.Kareena kapoor, as an effort to enhance the awareness about women's safety, launched an online application, VithU which helps the women in danger contact their family members immediately.

Using this emergency app, women can alert their family members that they are in danger and needs help.This app sends a message to the contacts women designated as guardians, which goes "I am in danger. I need help. Please follow my location". The guardian will then start getting their location,updated every two minutes.

Sharmila thinks that Kareena stood for a noble cause by contributing to women's safety. As cities are becoming highly unsafe for women, Kareena reportedly urged her female friends to use the application and also promoted the benefits of the application.

Reports were such that her husband is also very proud of her new step and even expressed interest in being the part of this campaign. Recently Kareena made news as she became the signature face of Pakistan's most popular mobile phone, Q Mobile.

Kareena Kapoor is now busy with her upcoming films Happy Ending, Badtameez Dil and Singham 2. Recently, she celebrated the new year eve with her hubby Saif Ali Khan, in New Zealand. Her husband Saif also had made news saying he has no plans to have babies with Bebo because both of them are busy with their work.
