Sonakshi Sinha Bags Rajnikanth’s Next Flick!

Yes, If rumours are true, Sonakshi Sinha, the lucky charm of many Bollywood superstars, will be sharing screen space with Southern Superstar,Rajnikanth in his next flick. Anushka Shetty, who is quite popular among the Tamil audience, will be the second heroine of this action film.

Soundarya Ashwin Rajini, daughter of the southern superstar, has asked the media and fans to be prepared for another big announcement. It looks like Sonakshi is going to be Thalaivar's next heroine after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

This is not the first time Sonakshi is getting chosen for a Tamil superstar flick but she was the first choice for Kamal Hassan's magnum opus Vishwaroopam and Rajnikanth's Raana which later went to Deepika Padukone. But now, with the new project of Rajnikanth, the shot gun junior will be marking her debut in south films.

It is rumoured that Rajnikanth offered a whopping amount for Sonakshi to be part of his films. Rumour mills are abuzz that it is the Everest remuneration the Tamil flick offered made her choose this film. A period romance penned by KS Ravikumar, the new Rajni flick, will be a big budget romance-action thriller against the backdrop of Pandya times of Tamil Nadu.
