"I have closely seen the work of Deepika and Anushka. They have done fantastic work in their recent movies and the roles they have acted in have actually spoken about their work. I am really happy that I have such a good competition in the industry," said Sonam Kapoor.
According to Sonam, there is definitely a change in the way women work in Bollywood today. " Discrimination is everywhere and not just in film industry but today the kind of roles and films that are written for women have improved. I have been offered few roles recently that are pretty good and different," stressed Sonam. "In my upcoming film Bewakoofiyaan, the Director, editor and most of the other cast and crew are women," she added.
On the eve of International Women's Day, Femina magazine in association with beauty brand L'oreal Paris is coming up with the third edition of L'oreal Paris Femina Women awards. The award show will be held on March 27. "I am happy to be in the presence of such great women who have contributed to society selflessly and made a difference to the world we live in," Sonam said.
Sonam Kapoor who recently has been in news for her bikini shots for a film wants to work for three causes - cancer, women empowerment and education.
