YIPH, A Youth Group Decides To Boycott Salman's Jai Ho

Members of the Youth Initiative for Peace and Harmony , YIPH, a youth group, has come to a decision to boycott Salman Khan's upcoming film Jai Ho, starring Daisy Shah and Tabu. Recently, Salman took part in a musical extravaganza in Saifai, village of Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, in Uttar Pradesh.

Group opined that it is a pity that the Bollywood actors took in part in a show in the village, when the UP government is not doing enough to help the victims of the communal riots in Muzaffarnagar. The Safai Mahotsava dancing visuals of Salman Khan, shown in various TV channels, was not well received by the audience because many felt that it is a gimmick of the political front in UP to get votes even Muzaffarnagar riot victims are not properly rehabilitated.

However, YIPH, welcomed Dabangg Khan's donation of Rs 25 lakhs to JN medical college. Jasin Mohammed, the spokesperson of YIPH, said, "Mulayam Singh Yadav should not have held the "Safai Mahotsava" this year and Salman and Madhuri Dixit should have not attended it showing" some sensitivity to human values."

He further said YIPH would boycott Jai Ho, the latest high octane film from Salman Khan. There was rampant negative reaction all over the country towards Bollywood stars attending 'Saifai Mahotsav', held in the village of UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Many from Bollywood defended that people hammer on stars because they are easy targets.
