Zarine Khan In A Punjabi Film

Zarine Khan, Salman Khan's protege who resembles his ex flame Katrina Kaif, is making her dream debut in punjab film industry with Jatt James Bond. The film's second poster is launched in web and receiving enormously positive feedback.

Zarine, obviously, plays the role of a Punjabi girl in Jatt James Bond which will be a different cinematic attempt in Punjabi film industry. Gippy Grewal is Zarine's pair in this Rohit Jugraj film that looks like a close cousin of Prabhudeva's masala entertainers, according to the poster. A Ram gopal varma protege, Rohit Jugraj had earlier directed films like James, Superstar in Bollywood.

It looks like Zarine is following the footsteps of Neha Dhupia who also debuted in Punjabi films recently. Even though Zarine's career began with a bang in mega budgeted Veer, as the heroine of Salman Khan, it didn't take off in a grand manner. Her first film Veer's box office failure was a major blow to her career but Salman again offered her a peppy item song in Ready. Even though the film was a runaway hit, her item song Character Dheela didn't win her any accolades.

When her next film Housefull 2 became a hit, unfortunately her co-stars Asin and Jacqueline Fernandez took the credit ! With new actresses dashing into Bollywood everyday, Zarine must have felt the need for making her presence in the regional film industry as well.
