Zee Cine Awards 2014: Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express Bags Best Marketed Film of the Year

Zee Cine Awards 2014 is all set to honour the best of best in Bollywood. The 14th edition of Zee Cine Awards 2014 is held in Mumbai on February 8, 2014, and best friends Abhishek Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh are hosting the show. Who's who of the Bollywood industry attended the awards Ceremony. The award for Best Marketed Film of the Year is announced and Chennai Express bagged the award.

No wonder Shahrukh Khan is best in marketing his films and here goes the credit. Zee Cine Awards has honoured Chennai Express as Best Marketed Film of the Year.


SRK is not only known as King of Bollywood but also known as King of Marketing industry. Before the movie releases SRK would have got about half amount by marketing his films.

Shahrukh and his team marketed the movie Chennai Express in all ways, be it in social media or television, they used every other platform to publicise their film. To pull the Tamil audience, he introduced a unique song ‘Lungi Dance' in the movie which was sung by famous Yo Yo Honey Singh. This song was dedicated to Thaliva Rajinikanth. Then comes Chennai Express game app which was available on both android as well as java based phones. It was also said the new brand of sarees was designed that have designs similar to Deepika's sarees in the film.
