After Jazbaa, Aishwarya Rai Has Already Signed For Next?

After the success of Jazbaa, starring opposite Irrfan Khan in the thriller of a movie, Aishwarya Rai is all set to star in Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming flick titled Durga Rani Singh.

Durga Rani Singh, is based on the true life story of a tough female police and Aishwarya Rai, in all probability, will be playing the lead role in the film.

Aishwarya Rai is currently shooting for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and was quoted as saying,

"I am doing three films - Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the biopic on Sarabjit Singh directed by Omung Kumar and a film with Sujoy Ghosh. I think Sujoy's films have gone to a later date. He had discussed two subjects with me - The Devotion Of Mr X and Durga Rani Singh."

Unfortunately Balaji's, The Devotion Of Mr. X has been shelved, and Aishwarya was quoted as saying.

"Sujoy has not told me that. I still have to meet him to discuss where that's going. We haven't had the time to meet once Jazbaa rolled. It was announced in the media that The Devotion Of Mr X was taking off and then announced that it was shelved but I really don't know what's happening... He has narrated both the subjects with me and now I have to figure out which one is there. But I know Durga Rani is on for sure!"

It is said that Irrfan Khan would play the lead role in Durga Rani Singh, so Aishwarya and Irrfan would be seen on-screen once again.
