Addressing
AIB
Roast
as
a
'porn
show',
CBFC
member
Ashoke
Pandit
ridiculed
Karan
Johar
with
a
nasty
tweet
which
created
a
fresh
controversy.
Ashoke
Pandit
did
found
some
support
in
his
campaign
against
the
makers
of
AIB
Roast,
also
called
AIB
Knockout
but
he
also
faced
several
criticisms
for
the
language
he
used
on
the
social
networking
site
to
abuse
Karan
Johar.
However,
Ashoke
Pandit
now
comes
up
in
self-defence
asserting
that
he
has
to
answer
vulgarity
with
vulgarity.
"I
am
a
fan
of
Karan
Johar's
cinema
and
am
extremely
hurt
by
what
he
has
done
on
stage.
He
makes
films
that
promote
core
Indian
values
and
people
look
upto
him
but
when
he
endorses
a
show
like
this
(AIB
Roast),
it
sends
out
a
wrong
message
to
the
youth
of
the
nation,"
said
Ashoke
Pandit.
Ashoke
Pandit
was
severely
criticised
for
the
language
he
used
on
Twitter
to
slam
Karan
Johar
and
AIB
Roast
for
which
the
CBFC
member
replies
saying,
"I
can't
answer
AIB's
vulgarity
with
charity.
I
have
to
send
out
the
message
loud
and
clear
and
for
that
I
have
to
use
a
language
that
they
understand.
The
tweet
is
just
an
extension
of
the
roast."
