Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jazbaa In Legal Trouble?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's much awaited comeback movie, Jazbaa has landed itself in legal trouble owing to director Sanjay Gupta.

The director has filed a defamation and mental harassment case on producer Vinod who is demanding to be listed as producer of Jazbaa movie even though he has not invested any money in this project.

Producer Vinod had approached Sanjay way back in April 2014 and given him token advance of Rs 49.5 lakh to work on a film called Delhi Ka Thug with Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani. The project got shelved owing to insufficient funds.

Sanjay never got compensated for his time spent on the project and so producer Vinod never asked for the money back as he felt Sanjay invested a lot of time in developing the project and didn't even take up any other film at the time.

With the Jazbaa film starting, Vinod thinks that his money is being used in this film and that's why he has been demanding his money back or wants credit as the producer of the film.

Owing to this Sanjay has filed a case with the Versova police against Vinod Bachchan for extortion, defamation and cheating.
