AR Murugadoss's 'Akira' Has Lakshmi Rai In Guest Role!

Director AR Murugadoss has given many hits in both Bollywood and Tamil film industry. His next project titled Akira has Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. Shooting has started and the director has teamed up with the leading production house Fox Star Studios, after Holiday.

Akira also features Sonakshi Sinha's father Shatrughan Sinha and Anurag Kashyap in pivotal roles. Latest buzz is that southern star Lakshmi Rai has been roped in to play a guest role in the movie.

The actress took it to her Facebook account and officially confirmed the news. This makes her Bollywood debut although it is just a guest appearance.

Akira means 'graceful strength' in Sanskrit. Sonakshi Sinha plays the title role which is of intense character. She plays a misunderstood girl who is forced to fight back when she is pushed to a corner in life.

Akira is an emotional thriller which will see Sonakshi in some lethal action scenes.

We wonder, what would be Lakshmi Rai's role in the movie!
