Brothers Trailer Launch: Akshay Kumar Takes A Dig At Karan Johar’s Acting

Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar recently released the trailer of Brothers. At the event, Akshay Kumar took a dig at Karan Johar's acting in the film Bombay Velvet.

At the trailer launch of Brothers, a reporter asked Akshay Kumar that will he reduce his fee if he will get an author backed role with a very strong script?

To which Akshay Kumar said, "Karan you should know this. Well, the best way out is the actor himself becomes a producer. So now the actor doesn't have to charge himself."

After hearing this Karan Johar promptly said, "And producers become actors."

Karan Johar Thinks He Is Incapable Of Making A Film Like Brothers

At this point, Akshay Kumar could not stop himself from talking about Karan Johar's acting, "Karan, just because you are wearing a velvety suit doesn't make you less of an actor."

Hearing Akshay Kumar's reply, embarrassed Karan Johar said, "Akki, please don't put fuel to the fire."

Karan Johar is the producer of Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra's Brothers. The movie is slated to release on 14th August.
