Awesome: You Would Love Deepika Padukone's Reply On Ex Boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's Flop Films

Ranbir Kapoor faced a very low phase in his career, when his three films flopped back to back at the box office. At a recent promotional event, Deepika gave an awesome reply when asked to comment on Ranbir's career.

Recently, a reporter asked, Ranbir Kapoor about his flop films, to which he said, "I don't think critics have been harsh on me. I have got amazing response for most of my films. So, I deserve this criticism because those were my choices. I have been lucky enough to have got a lot of support from my fans. I took all the praise with a big heart so I should take the criticism well too."

Ranbir Kapoor further added, "People should feel sceptical about me. It makes me work harder. It makes me not take my work for granted. It makes me realise that all the love and praise I was getting meant something. To earn that back, it will mean more now because you go through this phase. I don't know if I will get it back or not but definitely the desire is to prove myself again and start from scratch."

After hearing Ranbir's reply, Deepika Padukone said, "Sorry, but there is nothing like Ranbir needs to prove himself again. Every actor or individual goes through ups and downs in his or her career. I am sure his intentions have never been to make a flop film. When he does a film, he does it with the right intention but sometimes the way the story is interpreted by the director or the execution goes wrong or the movie is not that relevant at that point of time and it does not click with the audience."

''His heart is in the right place. People should give every film of his a fair chance. I have never seen anyone more passionate than Ranbir about making films and acting," she said.

Bollywood's most loved actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, dazzled the capital, Delhi on the eve of Diwali as they attended a party in the city on November 10.

When asked about their Bollywood journey, Ranbir said, "It's been a splendid journey and the media and fans have been supportive but nothing has changed." To this, Deepika added, "We still feel like newbies."

When asked about Diwali, Ranbir said, "After my grandfather's demise, things are quite like what all families do. I visit my grandmother at Chembur, we have Laxmi puja and we distribute gifts to the staff."

Ranbir Kapoor further added, ''My father may lose at cards and mom rolls her eyes, but in the evening we have to light a shagun ka phooljhadi but no crackers. And then there's Laxmi Puja and a good meal.''
