Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently took a bold step by talking about how she personally underwent anxiety and depression last year.

It was hard hitting fact and her story touched many people. While they were surprised at such a revelation, they were also emphatic and high on praise for the courage Deepika displayed.

Ever since then, Happy New Year actress Deepika Padukone's phone has been ringing non stop. On one hand, Deepika's extended family, friends and friends of friends reached out to her. At the same time even a lot of doctors, healers, saints, NGOs and even individuals have been trying to get in touch with Deepika and her team to offer support and guidance.

Deepika has taken up anxiety and depression as a cause and the actress would be spreading awareness about it. A lot of these bodies have proposed to become part of her initiative.

Deepika has been meeting a panel of doctors who have been working on the initiative. She has also asked her team to gather all the requests that have come in and in due course of time, they will work a way out to join hands with whoever can help spread awareness about the cause.
