Farhan
Akhtar
who
is
the
head
of
a
popular
social
campaign
MARD
(Men
Against
Rape
and
Discrimination)
has
always
been
vocal
about
issues
related
to
women.
With
Deepika
Padukone's
'My
Choice'
video
creating
so
much
hullabaloo
all
around,
Farhan
Akhtar
too
was
asked
about
his
opinion
on
the
same
and
the
actor
did
express
his
views.
Farhan
Akhtar
who
worked
with
Deepika
Padukone
in
the
film
Karthik
Calling
Karthik
seemed
to
be
in
favour
of
Deepika
but
did
not
take
any
sides.
Farhan
Akhtar
was
at
the
launch
of
a
serial
Main
Kuch
Bhi
Kar
Sakti
Hoon
where
he
was
asked
about
his
views
on
Deepika
Padukone's
controversial
'My
Choice'
video.
Farhan's
reply
was,
"What
Deepika
shared
with
us
was
her
personal
opinion
about
a
few
things
and
we
should
be
happy
that
she
is
sharing
such
personal
things
with
us.
There
is
no
law
that
forbids
us
to
share
our
opinion,
so
I
don't
know
what
all
the
fuss
is
about.
She
is
not
telling
is
to
do
all
those
things,
she
is
just
saying
that
it's
her
choice
to
do
those
things.
I
think
it's
okay
as
anybody
can
say
what
their
choice
is.
I
feel
it's
exceptional
that
she
came
out
and
bravely
supported
the
cause.
She
also
said
it's
okay
to
agree
with
it
and
it's
even
okay
to
not
agree
with
it.
So,
I
don't
have
any
problem
with
it
whatsoever."
Well,
Farhan
Akhtar
knows
how
to
keep
it
straight
and
safe.
