Sonam Kapoor: I Don't Do Film For Awards

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor says she chooses her projects based on the character she gets, and not by judging whether it would get her an award or not.

Asked about her expectations from her forthcoming project Dolly Ki Doli, she said, "I don't do films for awards. I do it for characters. I want to do different and interesting roles."

However, she hopes Dolly Ki Doli gets critically acclaimed and that "everybody likes it". Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film also features Rajkummar Rao and Pulkit Samrat.

Dolly Ki Doli produced by actor Arbaaz Khan under his production house Arbaaz Khan Productions said, "Both Pulkit and Rajkummar are promising actors and matched the demands of Abhishek's script. I'm happy to have them on board."

Dolly Ki Doli is releasing on January 23, 2015.
