It's official! Ranveer Singh has been cast in Aditya Chopra's Befikre as the lead actor. Coincidently, Ranveer's Bollywood career started with YRF films and now the duo are all set to collaborate again.

When Ranveer was still a struggling actor, it was Aditya Chopra who saw the potential in him and cast him in Band Baaja Baaraat, which also starred Anushka Sharma and was directed by Maneesh Sharma.

At the 56th Filmfare Awards, Ranveer Singh even won the award for Best Male Debut. Later he was again cast by Maneesh and Aditya for Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl which again became a big hit.

The actor ended up getting emotional in the small video that he recorded to unveil the lead hero of Befikre movie. Now that the hero has been decided, all the focus has shifted to the question, "Who will the lead actress be?"
