Kangana Ranaut Sends Legal Notice To Makers Of I Love NY

Kangana Ranaut was declared as the queen of Bollywood after the release of Queen and the actress defended her crown well with the success of Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

While, she has become one of the most popular actresses of the industry, makers of I Love NY (I Love New Year) tried to utilise the time by releasing the two years back film now. But seems, this clever gesture from the makers of I Love NY has irked Kangana.

I Love NY

I love NY starring Kangana Ranaut along with Sunny Deol was supposed to release on 2013 but it was held back for some reasons. With Kangana's popularity reaching great heights, producers of the movie have decided to release it on July 10th and apparently, without permission of the actress.

Kangana is so angry with the producers of the film that she has sent a legal notice to T-Series, demanding to stop the film's release.

"The producer ought to realise that. By belatedly releasing an abandoned film, they would wilfully hamper the name and image of my client, which is morally and ethically wrong. In my notice, I have asked them to stop the release of the said film, as was verbally assured to my client on numerous occasions", Kangana's lawyer was quoted.

On the other side, T-Series claimed that it had sold the film to Wave Cinemas around one and half years back and they have nothing to do with the film now.
