Munnabhai MBBS and Chandni Bar actor, Vishal Thakkar has been accused of raping and assaulting a TV actress. The identity of the 26 year old TV actress has been kept a secret for good reasons.

She has filed an FIR against him in Charkop police station under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323, 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

She even revealed that Vishal came to her friend's house two days before, apologising and trying to convince her to get together again.

"Following t he woman's statement, we have registered a rape case and several other relevant sections of the Indian penal code have been added," said Ramchandra Gaikwad, senior inspector, Charkop police station. "We are looking for him and will arrest him soon," the police said.
