Nawazuddin Siddiqui Picks Up The Hammer For Anurag Kashyap, But Why?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui would pick up his hammer once again, this time, not to break a mountain, but to kill people with it.

Anurag Kashyap, has roped in Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play the role of Pyscho Raman, a real life serial killer who terrorized Mumbai during the 60's and went on a murdering spree, mindlessly shedding blood of people with a blunt object.

The Manjhi star, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all geared up and preparing to play the psychopath.

A source close to the movie reveals, "Anurag Kashyap was keen that Nawaz play the role. It's an interesting character. The unit starts shooting in the next 10 days because Nawaz doesn't have any dates free after that."

Anurag Kashyap, has made successful films like Black Friday, Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 & 2, and Dev D which were unique and distinct from other Bollywood movies. This time Anurag would touch the topic of psycho serial killers.

The crew are in talks with Shruti Hassan to play a crucial role in the movie of the lone eye witness, the only lady who has seen the murder first hand. Ayushmann Khuranna is also said to playing the role of a police officer who would investigate the killings. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Raman Raghav, also known as Psycho Raman was a psychopathic serial killer who killed people in Mumbai during the mid-1960s. Very little is known about Raghav's early life or circumstances that led him to commit the crimes.
