PK Director RajKumar Hirani Admitted In Hospital After Bike Accident

Director Rajkumar Hirani who has given hit Bollywood movies like 3 Idiots, PK, Munnabhai series etc has met with a major accident and has now been admitted in the hospital.

He was admitted early Tuesday morning to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he injured himself in a bike accident. The director borrowed his employee's new Royal Enfield Bullet when he lost balance due to the weight of the bike and fell.

He suffered a fractured jaw and a gash on the chin. Dr Jalil Parkar of Lilavati Hospital revealed that Mr Hirani will be operated on and has no life-threatening injuries. A surgery was scheduled for Hirani at 8 am.

Anupama Chopra tweeted, "For those concerned, Raju is in hospital after a fall from a bike but he is fine. Nothing to worry about. He will be discharged tomorrow!"

Well, we hope the director a speed recovery! Raju Hirani has given many blockbuster movies to the Bollywood film industry like Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots and PK to name a few.

He is currently working on this upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor and editing his movie with R Madhavan, Saala Kadoos.
